Tokyo Seimitsu Held an Online Briefing Session for Suppliers to Promote Sustainable Procurement

Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. held an online sustainability briefing session on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, to promote sustainable procurement. The briefing session was attended by 93 suppliers.
At this briefing session , we explained our sustainability policy and activities, along with our supplier CSR guidelines. In order to promote sustainability in the entire supply chain, it is essential not only for us to make efforts but also for suppliers to promote sustainability initiatives in their business activities in collaboration with their partners. We therefore asked our suppliers to share the supplier CSR guidelines with their partners and to cooperate in human rights due diligence, conflict minerals handling, green procurement, climate action (CO2 emissions monitoring), and information security measures. We also asked them to take part in our questionnaires and surveys aimed at grasping the status of these efforts.
We position the "promotion of sustainable procurement" among our prioritized activities for the promotion of sustainability in the value chain, one of our materiality issues. Going forward, we will continue discussions with our suppliers and deepen mutual understanding. By promoting sustainable procurement through these activities, we will make our entire supply chain more sustainable, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
